I just got back from a week in Aruba, and I had such a fab time. We’ve been going there for the last five years, and I love it for so many reasons. It’s the same time zone and the same electricity. It’s a very safe island and the people are really friendly. A hotel doorman even chased my hat for almost a block before he caught up with it. It’s windy, so it never feels too hot. The water is a gorgeous shade of turquoise, and the ocean is very calm. I don’t feel like I’m going to be dragged away by a riptide any minute! Iguanas roam free, which kind of freaked me out at first. They are kind of beautiful if you look closely though. I try not to picture what a great belt they would make. Just kidding! Also, there are tons of great restaurants on the beach and there’s even one on a pier, so you can feed the fish as you’re having dinner. Just make sure you don’t drop your iPhone between the wooden slats!
I wanted to share some of my favorite pictures of Aruba, and maybe you’l be inspired to go too:-)
Thanks for sharing the pictures. It looks so relaxing and peaceful, I want to jump on the next plane to Aruba! And … yes, the iguanas are beautiful, in a belt kind of way – just kidding!
It was a great trip Alexa:-)
