I woke up the other morning to a temperature of 41 degrees, and I realized that it’s time to admit summer is over. Fall is here, and as much as love this season, winter is not too far behind. The only thing that gets me out of my “I don’t want to be cold for the next 5 months” funk (I’m always cold, so my winter lasts until it’s at least 65) is freshening up my wardrobe with a new sweater. Colorblocking is a big trend in sweaters this season, and I found 5 fab fall sweaters that I love. Here they are:
Sandro Merino Wool Sweater. Crisp color blocks in modern black and white style a versatile scoop-neck sweater knit from ultrafine merino wool, which is a great knit for people who find sweaters itchy. Merino wool is much finer and softer than ordinary wool. Free Shipping and free returns. $250
MARC BY MARC JACOBS Sweater. Staggered stripes add geometry to a soft-knit crewneck. Merino wool. Free Shipping and free returns. $228
Rachel Roy V-Neck Sweater. A slim-fitting sweater in a superlight merino knit sports a tricolor design constructed with exposed seams running down the sleeves and high/low cuffs. (Tank top not included). This is such a chic sweater! It will look great with the sale camo pants I bought this summer or with anything, for that matter. Merino wool. Free Shipping and free returns. $178
Ella Moss Sweater. Rich jewel tones pattern a ribbed-edge sweater with micro-houndstooth contrast panels. Acrylic/wool. I like that this looks like a cooler version of an argyle sweater. Free Shipping and free returns. $178
Enza Costa Cashmere Sweater. A coral hue at the sleeves brightens a color-blocked cashmere pullover styled with a wide V-neckline. 100% cashmere. I looooove cashmere, and this will be a great sweater to wrap myself in when it starts getting really cold. The grey top half will draw attention up to your face, so it’s also a great way to camouflage wide hips or a big bottom. Free Shipping and free returns. $285
