The Easiest Way To Get Wrinkles Out Of Your Clothes

I hate ironing. I mean I really, really hate it. I can probably count the number of times I’ve done ironed on one hand. I can’t afford to look like I just rolled out of bed though because as a fashion stylist, people do kind of scrutinize what I’m wearing. Plus, I never know if I’ll run into a client somewhere. I know the easiest way to get wrinkles out of your clothes that is sooo easy, you’re going to jump for joy if you don’t already know about it.

When sprayed on clothes, Downy Wrinkle Releaser loosens the fibers so that wrinkles just disappear (wish they made one for around my eyes!!). Depending on the fabric, a light spray may do the job (for a knit) or a more thorough spray might be necessary for heavier fabrics (like denim). Just let it dry, and you’re all set to go! I even used it yesterday morning on a T-shirt. I didn’t have time to let it dry naturally, so I blow-dried my T-shirt. OK, that sounds kind of crazy as I type it, but it worked! More Wrinkle Releaser bonuses:

  • It smells like fresh laundry
  • It comes in a travel size that I ALWAYS bring with me when I go away
  • It only costs about $6 for a 16 oz. container
  • You can get it at any drugstore or supermarket

I wouldn’t use it on a delicate fabric, such as silk, because I’m not sure if it will stain or not. I use it for T-shirts, sweaters, denim and my cotton blouses. It won’t replace an iron if you want a crisp look for a button-down shirt or linen, but since I don’t wear button downs, and I like my linen more natural looking it’s not an issue for me.

Now, put your iron in the very back of the closet and figure out what to do with all your free time!
